Thank you for the generous gift of your time. WCLL is a volunteer run organization and with the help from people like you allow our girls the wonderful softball experience they get with Willow Creek. There are several ways you can donate your time and each have different requirements.

Every volunteer must go through a background check before being allowed to have any contact with players during any official team activity. In our continuing effort to make Willow Creek Softball a fun and safe environment.
Details around requirements
Background Check
Required for anyone who has ANY contact with the players during team activities. Background checks are initiated to registered volunteers by the Safety Officer through JDP (via Sports Connect).
Abuse Awareness Training
Annual requirement for all Volunteers. Little League does not accept certificates from other sources (USA Baseball, SafeSport, etc..). Online training is offered by Little League.
Concussion Training
Annual requirement for all Coaches and Umpires. Online training is offered by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
First Aid Training
A current certification is required for all Coaches and Umpires. A valid certificate from your employer, or community-supplied first aid training, can be used as well.
First Aid training will be offered online from National CPR Foundation or locally in the Portland area via CPR Lifeline.

Please upload the training certificates to your Sports Connect volunteer profile, or send the certificates to safety@willowcreeksoftball.com.
